The Category Planning Merchandiser supports QVC UK, playing a pivotal role in driving strategic category and brand planning across the full commercial lifecycle, from budget creation and forecasting through to performance delivery and optimisation.

Your Opportunity, Your Team

Working at the heart of the commercial organisation, this role partners closely with Merchandising, Planning, Buying and Programming teams to translate strategy into actionable plans, balancing growth, margin, inventory health and airtime productivity to deliver strong commercial results


Where You'll Work

  • This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Chiswick Park, West London 2 days a week (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company).


What You'll Do

  • You'll lead full year and cross-category commercial planning, creating bottom-up budgets and pre-season category plans covering sales, margin, receipts, inventory and productivity

  • Manage and improve brand and category performance, identifying risks and opportunities across class, sub-class and brand portfolios

  • You will develop, manage and communicate detailed airtime and show plans, ensuring the right live airtime mix to maximise commercial performance

  • Prepare accurate monthly forecasts for the next three quarters, providing clear commentary and insights to senior leadership including VP Merchandising and Directors

  • Drive TSV and show rotation planning, analyse results and ensure company roadmaps are kept up to date and communicated across commercial teams

  • Day to day, you will collaborate with Buyers, Planners and Programmers, delivering analysis, guiding category and brand lifecycle strategies, and providing clear checks and balances to support informed decision-making.


What You'll Bring

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear commercial actions and recommendations

  • Advanced MS Excel skills and confidence working with financial and performance metrics such as sales, margin, inventory and ROAI

  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present insights and influence stakeholders at all levels.
