Job Summary

We're seeking a creative, organised, and experienced Video Producer to join our team. 

In this role, you will primarily work on the post-production aspect of our channel. Your main responsibility will be editing our videos, ensuring we make the most entertaining and engaging shows possible. You will also lead on optimising this material into effective social content and promotional materials for our channel and Patreon audiences.

This is not an on-camera position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead video and podcast post-production workflows with a focus on high-quality, creative editing
  
• Create promotional videos, trailers, and short-form content for Patreon and social platforms
  
• Optimize content for performance across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Patreon)
  
• Collaborate with the team to develop new formats and types of social content, ensuring we deliver the best experience possible for our audience
  
• Ensure final deliverables meet RKG guidelines and technical standards and maintain consistency in tone, style, and quality across all video outputs
  
• Stay up to date with video trends, tools, and platform best practices.
  

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

• Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in video production/editing
  
• Portfolio: We want you to demonstrate engaging editing techniques and the ability to tailor content to a variety of platforms. This could include YouTube videos, Instagram reels, trailers, and other promotional materials
  
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Premiere 
  
• Personal Skills: Exceptional communication, creativity, and attention to detail
  
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  
• Experienced in collaborating with senior producers and incorporating constructive feedback
  
• Experienced in optimising content for social media 
  
• Knowledge of video games and video games media
  
• Knowledge of YouTube video content
  
• In-depth understanding of video production techniques and workflows
  
• Must love dogs.
  

Desirable:

• Experience producing content for membership platforms (especially Patreon)
  
• Understanding of audience engagement, retention, and conversion strategies
  
• Photoshop skills
  
• Knowledge of motion graphics
  
• Knowledge of 3D animation
  
• Knowledge of camera and lighting equipment
  
• Experience with livestreaming, livestreaming technologies, and software
  
• Experience with producing podcasts and podcast post-production workflows
  
• Knowledge of FromSoftware games.
