Creative Operations Coordinator

Keep promos, CMS data, and launches on track, collaborating across teams to support compelling on‑air campaigns.

Hearst Networks UK are looking for a highly motivated and organised Creative Operations Coordinator to join their dynamic and award-winning team. This role coordinates and enters commissioning information and broadcast data, supporting on-air creative activity across UK and EMEA channels.


The Creative Team is responsible for the development and execution of a range of content for Hearst Networks EMEA. The team devise and deliver all the on-air and off-air campaigns, short form, branding and promos for Sky History, The History Channel EMEA, Crime + Investigation, Freeview channel BLAZE, our streaming services, History Play and C+I Play and our FAST channels – Mystery TV, Inside Crime, World War TV, Deal Masters and History Hunters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and accurately enter creative shortform information across Channel Management Systems for UK and EMEA channels

  • Act as a key point of contact for promo commissioning queries, building strong working relationships with On-Air, Media Planning, Production and Marketing teams

  • Maintain channel branding, promos, navigation and on-air technical data within CMS systems, ensuring all updates are completed accurately and on time

  • Coordinate on-air creative elements for channel launches and rebrands

  • Work closely with the Production and Creative teams to ensure information is communicated clearly and projects run smoothly

  • Support operational projects, including channel launches, playout migrations and the rollout of new platforms and technologies

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, escalating where necessary

  • Deputise for the Senior Creative Operations Coordinator during absence and support ad-hoc projects as required

  • Support the Production team on regular creative projects, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience for future career development.

  • Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision.

  • Experience of working as part of a team and supporting others.

  • Accurate and calm under pressure, responding positively to last minute changes.

  • Confident using systems and software packages to input, maintain and track information with a high level of accuracy.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience using media management systems (training given)

  • Knowledge of creative, broadcast or post-production workflows

  • A willingness and aptitude to learn new software and workflows (training given)

  • Able to rise to the challenge and own problems through to conclusion

  • An interest in developing production skills to support the Production team (training given)

  • Enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious.
