LFF Senior Production Coordinator

We are looking for a Senior Production Coordinator to provide logistical planning and event management support on a range of Galas and Gala Receptions, as well as working with the team on General Programme elevated titles. 

  • Salary: £35,640 annum  
  • Contract: Fixed Term Contract: 29 June 2026 – 06 November 2026
  • Hours:  41.


Working with the Senior Production Manager on key areas of planning and delivery across the Festival including overseeing local council and venue relationships and line management of fixed term festival staff, as well as leading on the Production of any additional activations and projects across the festival working with venues and colleagues on any builds or exhibitions. 

 

BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead on the coordination and delivery of all additional production projects such as activations and exhibitions that take place across the festival. Working with venues and colleagues to oversee hire fees, staffing requirements, H&S documentation, technical and physical production build schedules, and any other requirements of the production
  • Lead and maintain excellent partner venue relationships and team communication, acting as a central point of contact for the planning period and the duration of the Festival handling any issues that arise and escalating to Senior Production Manager where necessary
  • Line Manage approximately 15 Venue Coordinators during the Festival ensuring they receive proper training and briefs for their roles. Problem solve and escalate where necessary any issues that are communicated in the nightly reports
  • Support the Senior Production Manager by overseeing Gala guests details making sure that all information is correct on databases and that individual requirements are communicated to relevant teams.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable extensive experience in a similar role within a film festival, theatre, events agency or related cultural event production environment
  • Significant demonstrable experience in technical event production management, with the ability to manage resources ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Significant experience of dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including high level partners and sponsors to deliver a project under to a strict timeline and framework
  • A strong track record in successful budget management with strong administrative, process and organisational skills.
