Marketing and PR Assistant

Got a sharp eye for detail, a love of storytelling, and a brain that secretly enjoys a well-organised spreadsheet?

You might be exactly who we’re looking for.

We’re on the hunt for a Marketing & PR Assistant to help bring our family of brands to life.

We’re on the hunt for a Marketing & PR Assistant for a 6- 12 month contract to help bring our family of brands to life. You’ll sit within our Marketing team, reporting into the Marketing & PR Manager (with a dotted line to our Senior Marketing & PR Executive), and play a key role in how our brands show up in the world.

Alongside the marketing and PR you’ll play an important supporting role in helping the office run smoothly - acting as the company go-to person and ensuring a well-organised, welcoming environment. You will be coordinating basic office operations, suppliers, and day-to-day queries.

What you’ll be doing

No two days look quite the same, but you’ll be:

  • Keeping our brand assets in check, managing product photography, marketing decks and toolkits so everything is polished and ready to go
  • Crafting and sharing monthly newsletters that keep our partners informed, inspired and engaged
  • Supporting the creation of retailer campaigns with the Marketing team
  • Reviewing and approving partner and licensee marketing materials
  • Coordinating influencer campaigns and social media competitions, from sourcing products to making sure they land in the right hands
  • Organising events, press moments and bi-annual gift guides
  • Maintaining media lists, calendars and sustainability databases
  • Supporting B2B marketing, distribution assets, and website updates
  • Tracking PR performance and digging into competitor activity to spot trends and opportunities
  • Helping build a culture where great PR coverage is shared, celebrated and learned from.

What you’ll bring

Essentials:

  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Strong writing skills (clear, engaging, and on-brand)
  • A collaborative mindset and confidence-building relationships with different teams and partners
  • A creative eye and attention to detail
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Great communication
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign.

Bonus points if you have:

  • An understanding of brand marketing or partnerships
  • A genuine interest in kids’ brands, characters or IP (UK and beyond).

You’re someone who:

  • Loves spinning multiple plates - and somehow keeping them all in the air
  • Takes initiative and solves problems before they become problems
  • Picks things up quickly and isn’t afraid to dive into something new
  • Shares ideas, insights and learnings with the team
  • Brings energy, curiosity and a sense of ownership to everything you do.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is happy to roll up their sleeves. The role is office-based, five days a week.
