The Collectv is a fully independent technical TV service provider providing systems integration, media
management and engineering support for broadcast, outside broadcast and post-production systems. Our
experience spans shows such as Love Island (Lifted Entertainment) for ITV, Last One Laughing (Initial) for
Amazon, Drive To Survive (Box To Box) for Netflix, The Reluctant Traveler (TwoFour) for Apple, Darts for Sky
Sports to name a few.
In recent years we’ve been awarded Tech Team of the year and in 2015 and 2017 we were
awarded Emmys for Outstanding Technical Team Remote at the Olympics as part of NBC’s team.
In 2022 we
launched Creative Remote, our remote offline post facility, delivering some of the largest global unscripted highend television series including Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive To Survive and Simon Cowell’s: The Next Act.

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, the role covers a variety of responsibilities, but not limited to, dealing with clients, scheduling crew and equipment, and all logistical movements, as well as providing support for the wider Collectv team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Liaising with clients on the logistical elements of their projects
- Scheduling jobs into our system (Farmers Wife) – both equipment and crew
- Coordinating logistical elements of jobs including equipment, vans and staff
- Organising and booking equipment including hire kit from booking, negotiating rates, through to delivery and dispatch
- Organising crew including booking freelancers
- Organising carnets and shipping, including coordinating crew packing
- Raise Purchase Orders as requested
- Quoting and booking in offline edits for Creative Remote clients
- Planning and creating social media posts
Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills
Essential:
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and staff
- Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of problem solving
- Experience of scheduling systems (e.g. FarmersWife, Ceta, Xytech)
- Experience of Excel, Word, Outlook, shared folder systems (eg Dropbox or Google Drive)
- Experience of logistics, particularly with multiple concurrent projects, and carnets
- Quoting and budgeting experience
- Excellent attention to detail, diligence in work
- Able to plan tasks and prioritise effectively
- Good team working skills, with strong communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience of post-production and/or outside broadcast environments
