This role is based in New York.
THE COMPANY
Our client specialises in developing and delivering high‑quality live entertainment experiences for
stage and screen. They acquire premium IP and partner with leading
broadcasters, film studios and streamers to create and tour productions
internationally.
THE ROLE
As the Sales and Partnerships Manager, you will be the primary
point of contact for accounts across a designated US region, driving B2B sales
of live entertainment products across the orchestral, performing arts centre
and wider commercial market.
You will identify and close new business deals, grow existing
accounts and support the commercial strategy for live shows, tours and related
media products.
Key responsibilities:
- Initiate and manage booking discussions
with venues, promoters, festivals, broadcasters, streamers and brand
partners
- Maintain and grow relationships with all
presenters and commercial partners in your territory
- Proactively identify and approach new
clients, building a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations,
proposals and pitch materials tailored to different buyers
- Negotiate commercial terms, ensuring
deals are profitable and aligned with company objectives
- Track revenues, forecasts and financial
projections, reporting regularly on performance
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure
smooth delivery of projects
- Upsell and cross‑sell additional shows, formats, dates or
sponsorship opportunities
- Monitor industry trends across live
entertainment, media and streaming to identify new commercial
opportunities
- Contribute to pricing, sales collateral
and go‑to‑market plans for new live products.
This role requires travel when necessary.
THE PERSON
You should be a confident sales professional with proven experience
in B2B sales, partnerships or business development, ideally within live
entertainment, media, events or a related sector.
It is important you have a strong track record of hitting sales
targets, managing a pipeline from prospecting to closing and communicating
complex live products clearly to clients. Being comfortable negotiating
commercial terms is key, as is working on multiple projects.
