Media Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a technically capable Media Operator to support and evolve our Production Asset Management (PAM) and cloud-based media workflows.

This role sits at the centre of our operation — ensuring media moves efficiently, securely, and cost-effectively through the business.

What you’ll do

Manage and optimise media workflows across the PAM and post-production environment
Monitor media movement, metadata, and cloud storage, resolving issues and bottlenecks
Ingest new content, deliver proxies, and restore high-resolution assets from the cloud
Maintain and develop Python (or other) scripts to automate and improve workflows
Provide first-line technical support and user training across internal teams
Monitor cloud storage and compute, optimising performance and cost
Ensure PAM security, backups, and industry best practices are maintained.

What we’re looking for

Experience with media asset management or production systems
Strong understanding of cloud storage and compute platforms
Python scripting experience, knowledge and experience of alternative programming languages is essential
A proactive problem-solver with good communication skills
Interest in emerging technologies, including AI-driven workflows
ITIL 4 Foundation, AWS Practitioner (or higher) & other industry recognised certifications are an advantage, but not required.
