Media Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a technically capable Media Operator to support and evolve our Production Asset Management (PAM) and cloud-based media workflows. 


This role sits at the centre of our operation — ensuring media moves efficiently, securely, and cost-effectively through the business.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and optimise media workflows across the PAM and post-production environment
  • Monitor media movement, metadata, and cloud storage, resolving issues and bottlenecks
  • Ingest new content, deliver proxies, and restore high-resolution assets from the cloud
  • Maintain and develop Python (or other) scripts to automate and improve workflows
  • Provide first-line technical support and user training across internal teams
  • Monitor cloud storage and compute, optimising performance and cost
  • Ensure PAM security, backups, and industry best practices are maintained.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Experience with media asset management or production systems
  • Strong understanding of cloud storage and compute platforms
  • Python scripting experience, knowledge and experience of alternative programming languages is essential
  • A proactive problem-solver with good communication skills
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI-driven workflows
  • ITIL 4 Foundation, AWS Practitioner (or higher) & other industry recognised certifications are an advantage, but not required.
