Camera Supervisor

The Camera Supervisor supports QVC UK and leads studio camera operations and technical resourcing to deliver high-quality live and non-live broadcast output.

Where You'll Work

This role will require you to be on-site at Chiswick Park, West London, working in a shift pattern that includes early morning starts and post-midnight finishes.


What You'll Do
  • Lead all aspects of studio camera operations, ensuring high-quality output across live and non-live productions

  • Oversee camera resource scheduling and deployment, making sure studio requirements are met effectively and commercially

  • Provide creative camera direction and contribute ideas that enhance production quality and maximise sales impact

  • Ensure all camera equipment is prepared for daily operations, with a proactive approach to maintenance and escalation of technical issues

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the technical studio team on shift, providing clear direction and supporting development across the function, using a range of broadcast studio equipment

  • Maintaining consistent performance standards across camera driving, racking and sound mixing

  • Acting as a visible point of contact for the team and collaborating closely with production, engineering and wider media operations teams

  • Supporting a strong culture of Health and Safety awareness and compliance across studio operations.


What You'll Bring
  • Extensive experience in multi-camera studio operations, ideally within a live production environment

  • Proven experience leading teams, with the ability to coach, motivate and develop colleagues effectively.

  • Strong technical knowledge of camera equipment, including robotic camera operation and vision control

  • Proven ability to think creatively and take a proactive approach to rostering and crewing

  • Demonstrated creative judgement and the ability to enhance output through camera work and operational decision-making

  • Excellent communication and interpretation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams

  • A solid understanding of Health and Safety requirements within a studio or broadcast setting.

  • Full colour vision is required for this role.
