Play a key role in shaping and delivering the marketing strategy for a global producer.

THE COMPANY

 

Our client is a global producer and distributor of premium content across theatrical, television, digital, short-form and animation.

 

They have partnered with leading creators worldwide and are known for their high-quality storytelling.

 

THE ROLE

 

As the Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering film marketing across B2B and B2C, helping projects and the brand stand out across the global industry.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing campaigns and materials for feature films, working in close collaboration with distribution partners
  • Help shape campaign positioning ahead of distribution handover, ensuring clarity of audience and sales messaging
  • Oversee the creation of trailers, posters, key art, AV and digital assets, managing creative agencies, trailer houses and PR partners
  • Own budgets and manage negotiations across creative and promotional partners
  • Lead corporate and trade marketing activity across major film markets and festivals including Cannes, EFM, AFM and TIFF
  • Create high-impact sales materials such as pitch decks, sizzle reels, promos and key art to support sales and acquisitions
  • Help shape and maintain a consistent, premium brand presence across trade, markets, website, newsletters and social channels
  • Manage planning and logistics for screenings, mail-outs and sales coordination
  • Collaborate closely with sales, acquisitions, production and finance teams to ensure marketing activity supports business objectives
  • Run a monthly internal film club to support culture, collaboration and shared creative inspiration.

 

THE PERSON

You should have solid experience in film marketing at a distributor, sales agent, production company or specialised agency. Experience delivering both trade and consumer-facing film campaigns across festivals, markets, trailers, artwork, digital and social is key.

 

To be successful in this role, it is important to understand how films are positioned for both buyers and audiences and bring strong industry relationships to support this.

 

Familiarity with InDesign or Canva is a plus, alongside a passion for film and storytelling.
