Operations Administrator

We are looking for an Administrator to join the BFI’s Operations, Partners & Projects (OPPs) team who are responsible for the operational capabilities of National Lottery and Grant-in-Aid funding and for wider operational frameworks for departments making funding awards. 

  • Salary: £33,477 - £34,131 per annum.


This role supports the OPPs team and covers all administrative aspects of funding applications and award management with a particular focus on assisting the OPPs Project Manager with the administration of BFI NETWORK applications. 


Key responsibilities include: 

  • Be main point of contact for regional talent executives, answering queries about fund requirements along with ensuring that the grant management database is maintained as required in relation to individual projects
  • Distribute paperwork for internal review and approval across a variety of processes, providing summary information as required to senior colleagues
  • Undertake all paperwork preparation for weekly committee meetings for NETWORK projects, including ID checks, ensuring that paperwork from applicants via regional talent executives is accurate and in a position to be ratified or approved by committee members
  • Support the OPPs Project Manager as required with NETWORK funding callouts, including keeping documentation up to date and accurate as necessary.

 

 

We are looking for candidates who have: 

  • Experience and confidence in navigating and maintaining data using a Grant Management Database system (e.g. Blackbaud Grant Management). 
  • Demonstrable experience in grant administration or programme delivery. 
  • Experience of working with data and reporting, including generating. insights, maintaining data quality and using systems (e.g.  Excel or databases) to support decision making.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), with the ability to manage data, produce reports and support operational processes.
