The Senior People Manager will provide advice to managers on a range of areas, working collaboratively and with guidance from the Senior People Partner to support on complex case management and projects, supporting the wider people agenda.


About the Role

  • Acting as an expert, providing advice, support and guidance to managers on investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, acting as the first line support for case work within the People Team
  • Supporting managers, in collaboration with the Senior People Partner and wider HRBP team, to manage capability and performance effectively and consistently
  • Advising on all aspects of employee relations, policy, process and employment law.


About You

  • Experience working within, or appreciation of, working within a busy media organisation
  • Experience of working within a unionised environment and the process around that
  • Understanding of sensitivities surrounding information going into the public domain
  • Experience of stakeholder management and working with challenging stakeholders
  • High level of literacy and exceptional attention to detail.
