We're looking for an experienced Senior Colour Assist to join our talented Colour team, supporting our Colourists on a wide range of high-end productions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional work. You'll play a key role in developing workflows, mentoring junior team members, and helping us maintain the high standards our clients expect.


What You'll Do

As a Senior Colour Assist, you'll work closely with our Colourists, Online, MCR and Mastering teams to ensure projects run smoothly from conform through to final delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, conforming and sync-checking material for colour grading
  • Operating Baselight and other DI/conforming software and hardware
  • Supporting Colourists throughout grading sessions and resolving technical queries
  • Copying and matching grades for resupplies and VFX updates
  • Managing recuts and timeline updates
  • Working confidently with colour space standards and complex workflows
  • Importing, exporting and delivering material to internal departments and external clients
  • Encoding, transcoding and carrying out advanced file processing
  • Running client and internal screenings in grading suites and theatres
  • Liaising with Online, Engineering and external suppliers on workflows and technical issues
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, workflow guides, trackers and handovers
  • Training, mentoring and supporting junior members of the Colour team
  • Helping to keep internal documentation and team knowledge up to date.

What We're Looking For

You'll bring:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a DI/Colour Support department
  • At least 4 years' experience in a technical post-production role
  • Strong proficiency in Baselight
  • A solid understanding of TV and film delivery standards
  • Experience with data management and post-production workflows
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise effectively and perform well under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in troubleshooting technical issues
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to make informed decisions and escalate when appropriate.
