With award-winning creative talent, industry-leading technology and facilities across London, Reading, Bedfordshire and Ireland, we work with our clients to bring stories to life.

The role

We’re looking for a technically minded, detail-oriented QC, Mastering & Delivery Specialist to join our Picture Operations team in Reading.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that content meets the highest technical and quality standards before it reaches our clients, broadcasters and streaming platforms. From carrying out detailed quality control checks to creating final masters and managing deliveries, you’ll help ensure every project is completed accurately and to specification.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the demands of a post-production environment, takes pride in getting the details right and can work confidently to tight deadlines without compromising quality.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out full and spot quality control checks on film and television content, identifying technical issues and ensuring materials meet the required standards

  • Producing clear, accurate Quality Assessment Reports and communicating any issues to the relevant teams

  • Reviewing broadcaster, distributor and platform specifications and ensuring deliverables meet the required technical and delivery requirements

  • Creating high-quality masters and deliverables using industry-standard software and workflows

  • Working with SDR and HDR content, including Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos workflows where required

  • Using video and audio measurement tools to assess technical compliance and identify faults

  • Investigating QC failures, recommending corrective action and helping prevent recurring issues

  • Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve QC processes and working practices

  • Communicating technical requirements and potential delivery risks to colleagues, clients and stakeholders

  • Monitoring bookings and workflows, flagging potential conflicts or issues that could affect delivery deadlines

  • Supporting the development of junior team members through training and mentoring.

What we’re looking for

Essential experience and skills

  • Hands-on experience in post-production, media services, QC, finishing or a closely related technical environment
  • A strong understanding of video and audio technical standards, common faults and quality control requirements

  • Experience reviewing content against technical specifications and identifying when material falls outside the required standards

  • Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and analytical approach to work

  • The ability to produce accurate technical reports and explain complex issues clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and demanding deadlines

  • Confidence working independently, using initiative and escalating issues appropriately

  • A collaborative approach, with a willingness to challenge existing processes constructively and contribute to improvements.

Desirable experience

  • Experience working with HDR content, particularly Dolby Vision
  • Experience creating deliverable masters, including IMF packages and DCPs

  • Familiarity with Dolby Atmos workflows

  • Experience working with broadcaster, distributor and streaming platform delivery portals

  • Experience communicating directly with clients about technical specifications and delivery issues

  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues.
