Project Manager - RBO Studios

Royal Opera House, Covent Garden

permanent

  • Salary: £35,000 per annum
  • Hours: Full-Time 40 hours per week
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Based in: Covent Garden, London.

The Royal Ballet and Opera, situated in our Covent Garden theatre has been at the heart of London and British cultural life for three centuries. We are home to two world-class Companies: The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera.

The Royal Opera House describes the place we work, not who we are. The whole is always more than the sum of its parts – we may be a House, but three quarters of our audiences experience what we do outside this building. While our Covent Garden theatre is the nerve centre, the impact and influence of the organisation can be felt in every corner of the country, and around the world.

The Audiences and Commercial department drives income, grows and diversifies audiences, and promotes the Royal Ballet and Opera’s work across multiple platforms, including live performances, digital content, cinema, and touring.

We are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to work as a key member of the Studios Delivery team. This role will be responsible for the effective end-to-end management of creative projects and assets. The role spans digital, film and print delivery and will initially have a particular focus on supporting Marketing priorities.

Our ideal candidate will have strong project management and communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of managing multiple creative, content, marketing or communications projects through to delivery in a busy, deadline-led environment
  • Practical understanding of digital, film and print production processes
  • Strong project planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail
  • Experience of using project or workflow management systems
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to communicate clearly, manage expectations and work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
