Digital Assistant Producer - UEFA

We are seeking a bold and ambitious Digital Assistant Producer with top class editing skills who is experienced working to deadlines in a live sport environment.

Whisper is a leading global production company, specialising in sports, unscripted and branded entertainment.

 

Our diverse team of over 270 work in offices across the UK and beyond, producing sports such as Formula One, UEFA and The Paralympics, as well as branded content, prime-time documentaries and entertainment quiz shows for a raft of broadcasters.

 

In 2023 Whisper won a BAFTA and was nominated for an International EMMY. 

 

Obsessed with football and content, you will have strong opinions on what makes a brilliant video and will share that passion with the rest of the Digital team making content for UEFA.

Your Adobe Premiere Pro skills will elevate every edit and your leadership and communication skills will make you a dream colleague.

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong editor who is constantly evolving their Adobe Premiere Pro skillset. You must be very comfortable cutting player interview features for YouTube and broadcast, football compilations and social clips
  • An individual with a track record of making brilliant digital and social content for a major sports organisation
  • A leader and communicator who is calm under pressure. You must already have experience of working to deadlines in a live environment
  • A football content obsessive. You should be completely locked into the trends around football content, observing and taking inspiration from the hours of content available
  • A person comfortable around athletes and coaches who can be a calm and clear voice on a shoot.

Your Mission:

  • To make football content for Whisper’s UEFA department that is regarded as the best in the industry
  • To help Whisper make content for UEFA that only they could make, exploiting the incredible access to athlete and the unrivalled archive
  • To set high standards for the rest of the team with your editing, media management, professionalism and communication
  • To become that person on the team who can train and inspire the junior members
  • To remain and curious and proactive about improving your Adobe Premiere Pro skillset.

The Skills You Bring:

  • You know how to make content that provokes strong reactions in an audience. You know the difference between ‘good enough’ and ‘industry-leading’
  • You can be the individual responsible for leading a match-night crew delivering large numbers of assets to deadline for a client with very high standards
  • You understand the realities of working with broadcasters, governing bodies and sports teams
  • A passion for digital and social platforms. You are constantly watching content on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok and stay close to trends and platform developments
  • You can direct and produce a club Access Day shoot with players and coaches. You can talk confidently and warmly to the players and also direct the camera operators and crew to execute your brief.

Location:

  • The base for this position is Kew, London.

Working Days:

  • 5 day week, x4 days in office and x1 day WFH
  • You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirement
  • Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week
  • Whisper offer the option of flexitime hours subject to production requirements.


Start:

  • ASAP till 12th June 2026.


Salary:

  • Based on experience.
